Remedy Rook

Remedy was raised in rural Michigan where she developed a fascination for the natural world. Remedy pursued a double major in art and environmental biology in Michigan and continued her studies at the Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon, where she focused on painting and drawing. However, her student loan company rejected funding for her thesis year, leading her to leave Portland and embark on an over 1,100-mile bicycle adventure across several states. Currently, Remedy’s focus is on illustrative realism, portraiture, botanical work, and transforming her paintings into tattoos.
