Sam Lockett is a native Texan who grew up in the mountains of Utah, but later moved to Singapore. After a stint abroad, he returned to Austin, Texas, where he has lived for over twelve years. Sam has been creating visual illustrations for most of his life and spent two years creating traditional flash art, at which point he was taken on as an intern at Firefly Tattoo by Jon Claeton. Sam currently specializes in traditional and neo-traditional nature tattoos as well as pop culture, black magic, and psychedelic geometry.
