Virginia Marting is a native of Rosario, Argentina. She lived in Mexico for a year and in Spain for a year. In 2007, Virginia moved to Portland, Oregon. She studied art at Universidad Nacional de Rosario but did not finish her degree, as she instead began studying with artists she admired. Virginia learned a lot from Julián Usandizaga, with whom she trained for over three years. She also curated exhibitions at a feminist bookstore for three years. In 2023, Virginia opened El Dorado Art Studio, where she now works. To this day, she is still developing in the art world, constantly taking lessons from artists.
