Matt Reed studied tattooing under Don Deaton at Sea Tramp Tattoo. In 1998, Matt opened TigerLily Tattoo Studio. Since its opening, the studio has been visited by some of Portland’s best artists and has been featured in Tattoo Magazine. Matt continued to tattoo at TigerLily and was involved in art projects throughout Portland. In 2015, Matt handed over the studio to Greg and Mary Kate, who are now dedicated to continuing the vision that Matt created.
