Born in Guatemala City in a time when civil war was tearing his country apart, Ruben Barahona found solace as an artist. He overcame many difficulties with hard work and determination to earn academic scholarships all the way through college where he studied music. Although still involved musically, his true talent turned out to be drawing instead. Ruben dropped everything to become a tattoo artist.
He honed his craft and In 2013 opened up shop in Antigua Guatemala. A few years later Ruben moved to NYC where in 2018 he opened Graveyard NYC tattoo salon in lower Manhattan where he remains today with clients coming from all over the world.
