Sofia grew up in the Bay Area, beginning her studies at nineteen in Honolulu, Hawaii. Six months after starting her apprenticeship, she moved back to the Bay Area, finding her place at Black & Blue Tattoo. When working, Sofia is inspired by designs with fine lines, including floral/filigree elements, anime/cartoon related custom designs, animals, landscapes, illustrative concepts, portraits, insects, and anything with a dark/feminine theme.
